Feature Job of the Week: Big Data Software Engineer

How Much Love Do You Have For Big Data and Analytics, This Much? 

We are looking for a passionate, software engineer that is familiar with all aspects of Big Data solutions within a large organization. With offices throughout the US and one locally, this engineering role will work within a team environment to develop solutions within the healthcare sector.

Experience with Hive, Apache Pig, Hadoop and Spark and related technologies is required to develop, maintain and test solutions that will drive impactful outcomes.

Your typical day may include customizing data pipelines, validating data, bug reporting and resolution, unit testing, cloud deployment and project architecture. Working within an Agile environment, you’ll need to have solid understanding of Agile principles, ETL programming, hands-on experience with Big Data tools, and a natural ability to anticipate problems and provide timely resolutions.
