America Makes is the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute, a $45 million public / private partnership aimed at increasing American manufacturing competitiveness by advancing 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies. In partnership with MAYA Design, OpenArc built the digital estate from scratch – both the website and a robust business platform collaboration tool that America Makes members use to create teams and collaborate on projects. The OA web team served as deep technical experts to MAYA’s world-renowned creativity and design, implementing a roadmap for a new player that is helping to bring American manufacturing into the 21st century.
