  Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary:

Quality Assurance Analyst/Backend Tester will help by validating that the sites and systems meet design specifications and requirements using various database tools.

 Responsibilities:

  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
  • Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
  • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
  • Liaison with development, project management, and customer support
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

Requirements:

  • BS or BA degree preferred but not required
  • 2/3+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
  • Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases.
  • Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
  • Familiar with progression testing

 Preferred (but not required) skills:

  •  Experience testing mobile apps

  .Net Software Engineer

Requirements:

  • Passion for the user experience
  • Deep understanding of a majority of the following: C#, JavaScript, HTML, LESS (CSS is fine), SQL
  • Strong understanding of common design patterns, such as MVC and MVVM
  • Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (i.e. HTTP, caching, headers, cookies, client-server)

  iOS Developer

Summary:

This position will require both native mobile development experience as well as competency with web applications and services. The role requires an energetic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication, organization, and technical skills to work cross functionally with other organizations (internal and external), who can communicate to all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of mobile applications and plugins (iOS and Android)

  Systems Admin

Requirements:

  • Analyzes, logs, tracks and resolves complex software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printer, servers, and applications to meet business needs.
  • Coordinate and automate hardware/software installations and upgrades to ensure work is properly performed in accordance with company policy. Recommends resolution to complex matters of significance and coordinates the implementation of the approved course of action.
  • Coordinates and monitors troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems; documents system events to ensure continuous functioning. Recommends course of action and implements as approved.
  • Oversees the installation of client department-specific applications and systems. Ensures installations are in accordance with appropriate operating procedures; determines revisions or updates to installation as needed.
  • Coordinates testing, upgrades and configuration of system files and services. Ensures changes are in accordance with appropriate operating procedures; recommends revisions or changes based upon results. Prepares for and prescribes approaches to possible downstream implications.
  • Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes.

Skills:

  • Experience with CentOS or Red Hat Linux
  • Prior experience architecting and maintaining large scale infrastructure serving millions of users per day
  • Experience managing environments in AWS or comparable cloud based provider
  • Experience configuring Cisco ASA or IOS based devices
  • Experience performance tuning LAMP stack components (Apache, MYSQL, etc)
  • Understanding of automating systems deployment systems such as Chef or Puppet
  • Experience with monitoring systems, such as Nagios/Icinga, Cacti, Observium or Traverse
  • Scripting in any of the following languages: Bash, Perl, and Ruby
