You will provide project and production support for Oracle Utilities Suite Databases and legacy Oracle Databases. In this position, you will collaborate with all levels of the organization to determine requirements to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented. You will also develop written documentation, including installation and configuration procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
-Support full life cycle of Oracle Utilities Suite Databases (CC&B, MOM, MWM, WAM) – installation, configuration,
migrations, patching, cloning, security, upgrades, etc.
-Provide technical support for all OLC Oracle Databases, including management of Databases, Listeners, Dataguard, Golden Gate, RMAN and EXADATA.
-Perform ongoing database administration, maintenance, performance tuning, installation and backup/recovery of Oracle databases running on multiple environments (Linux and AIX). Provide 24×7 on-call support as part of a rotational schedule
-Review, create and correct detailed documentation including, but not limited to, installation, configuration, migrations,
patching, cloning, refresh, security, training, and upgrades
-Ensure continued high user satisfaction. Work with helpdesk/users/managers to measure and manage service levels. Train
helpdesk/users/managers when needed and answer questions in a timely manner
-Oversee the completion of projects including meetings, planning, assigning, monitoring. reviewing progress, cross-training,
and evaluating results
-Collaborate with co-workers to determine the impact of database changes on other systems and staff cost for making changes to the database
-Drive effective flow of communication between the OBA team, users, and management
-Review, create and correct database/application programs
-Modify database programs/servers to increase processing performance, referred to as performance tuning
-Install, configure, support and document database monitoring/instrumentation to insure proactive response/resolution to database errors
-Oracle llg / 12 / 12c / 13c experience
-Oracle Golden Gate experience
-Database Object Partitioning
-RMAN Backup
-Cloning Databases
-Data Guard/ Data Brokerage
-Linux Shell Scripting
-Basic knowledge of Linux/AIX Operating Systems
