Feature Job of the Week: IT Process Manager Opportunity

In this role, you’ll lead a team of process professionals, oversee the end-to-end management of IT processes, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Strategy and Roadmap Development: Design and maintain comprehensive IT process roadmaps aligned with organizational goals, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance. Leverage data-driven insights to prioritize process initiatives that enhance business outcomes.
  • Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or ITIL. Recommend and implement improvements to streamline workflows, reduce redundancies, and improve service delivery.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Manage a team of direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide mentorship, set performance goals, and ensure professional growth to build a high-performing process team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management: Partner with IT and business leaders to align process initiatives with strategic objectives. Use persuasive communication and change management best practices to drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and process frameworks.
  • Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks to ensure processes meet regulatory, security, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT, GDPR). Conduct regular process audits to assess compliance and identify risks.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure process effectiveness. Deliver actionable reports to leadership, highlighting improvements, bottlenecks, and recommendations.
  • Tool and Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement process management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or BPM software) to automate workflows and enhance visibility. Ensure seamless integration with existing IT systems and enterprise architecture.
  • Global Framework Expertise: Apply knowledge of global IT frameworks such as ITIL v4, COBIT, or TOGAF to standardize processes across distributed teams and geographies. Adapt frameworks to meet the organization’s unique needs while maintaining best-in-class standards.
