Feature Job of the Week: DevOps Engineer

Does your background include network operations, or do you have an affection for scripting? As a DevOps Engineer, you will bridge the gap between the dev and IT teams. In this role, you’ll provide software engineering and cloud infrastructure support. To improve testing and performance, you’ll be expected to offer expert-level advice across multiple product lines, and the process requires excellent knowledge of the Linux operating system, Amazon Web Services, DevOp tools, automation, and databases. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build and improve on CI/CD pipelines to make them robust, performant and efficient
Automate infrastructure as code using Terraform
Continually document and improve DevOps processes
Build tools and automation to power developer-friendly deployments
Continually enhance the reliability and performance of all environments

REQUIREMENTS
Code (or script) in at least one modern application development or utility language
Be a competent Linux user with experience with AWS
Strong skills of automation and DevOps tools is a must
Knowledge of Terraform is a plus
Experience with monitoring production systems
Databases skills (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
Knowledge of Windows Server and IIS is a plus
Solid understanding of Git including branching and merging strategies
A BS in Computer Science or a similar degree, along with 2 to 5 years of experience, would be an ideal fit
