A Capitol Idea

Growing has consequences – like new offices!

As evidenced by some of our recently acquired hardware – and as also evidenced by the fact that we keep running out of room at OpenArc HQ – we are continuing to grow at a tremendous rate. Our growth can be traced to two major factors: the hard work of our brilliant “Arc-ians” (we’re working on that; we’ll keep you posted) and the ongoing satisfaction and loyalty of our customers. Thanks to those factors, we doubled in size and revenue this year – and we plan to do the same in 2016.

In fact, we feel so strongly about the value of our unique approach to IT staffing and mobile application development – and about our manufacturing and health technology strategy services – that we have been actively exploring opportunities for expansion. Los Angeles and London are among the cities we’ve been investigating, but we’re happy to announce that our first official satellite office has just opened in Washington, DC!

OpenArc DC is led by Dimitrius Hutcherson, an accomplished, results-driven technology executive with extensive experience in commercializing ideas and developing companies from early stage through fruition. Dimitrius has played a lead role at several Fortune 500 companies in IT strategic planning, multi-year technology roadmaps, initiative planning, strategic decision-making, and Six Sigma process improvement efforts, and has a proven track record for driving change by working cross-functionally within organizations to identify cost savings, efficiencies, and revenue benefits. We couldn’t be happier to have him. Additionally, we have already served a number of customers in the greater metro area of our nation’s capital, including The American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT), AlumniFidelity, CiV Digital, and others, so it was a natural fit.

It can be difficult to grow quickly and maintain the key ingredients and values that brought about your initial success. We all know that with rapid growth comes new people, new challenges, and new ways of doing things, but we remain committed to our core values of integrity, excellence, accountability, respect, and transparency – all while firmly putting our customers first. These values have gotten us this far, and we believe that they will serve us well wherever OpenArc goes in the future.
